Ambala gets its 13th Police Station
Ambala District has been sanctioned its 13th Police Station at Industrial Area Saha. The new Police Station has been carved out of Mullana, Barara and Maheshnagar Police Stations and has jurisdiction over 45 villages including Saha Industrial Area being developed by HSIIDC. The police station has a sanctioned strength of 59 (all ranks) and its ultra modern building has been constructed by HSIIDC at a cost of Rs.60 Lakhs. The Police Station was inaugurated by Smt. Keshni Anand Arora, Special Secretary Home Department on 12th September 2006.
Ambala Traffic Police gears up for Tight Enforcement
The Ambala Traffic Police has been equipped with one high speed light motor vehicle, one interceptor vehicle and six motor cycles to give it the required mobility.
